Please help me!!!!!

okay so yesterday while driving my car it start it to act funny and i would give it gas but it wouldnt go any where so i had to stop open the hood and found one of the core wires came of the distributor cap does this mean i need a tune up? and if i do can you guys help me which brand to go with i do like to push my car so i want something thats going to give me good performance for a decent price i want to know what brand core wire is best spark plugs all that.... thanks for your help

It means you need to put the wire back on. Did it work OK after that?
For ignition parts I would stay with stock ones from a dealer, and use the NGK V-Power conventional spark plugs (which you can buy anywhere). Aftermarket wire sets, any of them, have been very unreliable.

I would go with the stock plugs I have a 2k Si and I ran the cheaper platniums and it ran like crap and had misfires alot beware the plugs that are listed in the owners manual are around $14 bucks each
Hey guys thanks for all your help I took it to my mechanic and yes the car did need it a tune up I bought ngk spark plugs and cables my car is running great I love my Si once again thanks for the help : )
