hello.my car was stolen and retreived not too long ago and the thieves took my seats! I have a 2000 honda civic EX coupe 2dr and my repair guy had the toughest time finding seats that fit. what i ended up with after a week of waiting for the right parts, is a set from the junk yard that smells like cat poo and i used to have nice leather seats(. i want to find a set of seats online that are in better condition than what i have...i found a bunch that cost 1/3 of what i paid for my stinky ones but i'm afraid that they won't fit. afterall, if the repair guy had to reorder several times to get the ones that fit, a novice like me won't get far. i've seen descriptions of ads that match my car but i'm afraid they won't fit. would someone help? thank you!

 

Hello there gorgeous...I had to say something...Well for the 6th generation any seats from 96-00 should fit right in. I would definitely look into some Si seats from 99-00 If you would like to get those kind of seats. 4r Leather seats you will have too look into Integra seats but I forgot what yrs fit that civic. I see a lot of seats on Craigslist and E-bay

 

If your car was stolen, shouldn't your insurance company buy you some nice new seats from Honda?

Thank you for the info, Civic Si 00! Just to clarify...as long as I find seats for 96-00 civic 2 Door, all the seats (front, passenger andrear) should fit, but a 96-00 Civic 4Door, wouldn't work or does that matter?

To answer your Q, jim9418...

I had the same coverage for almost 10 yrs (8yrs on a beat up mazdathat you'd have to pay someone to stealand 1.5 yrs on my civic) and when I switched to a civic, I didn't think to make any changes to my liability coverage then I learnedthe hardway...no comprehensive=no theft protection. that was my bad. I've since then up'd it to full coverage...lesson learned.

 

96-00 2 door should fit with NO problems

96-00 4door Not sure..Too me they seem similar but the railing might be different for the front seats. I'll check my dad's car tomorrow, he has a 96 Lx 4 door. I'll see how his front seats match to my Si and compared the railing also
