Possible Bad Computer?

Unhappy Possible Bad Computer?
'97 1.6 Auto will not start.

Used an OBDII device and got quite a few stored codes but when I try to do a new scan it says that it cannot connect.

Possible Bad Computer?

What is the part number on the side of the ECU? Is the car modified in anyway? Are you seeing a CEL?
