Default Power steering fluid

I just want to know what are the signs that power steering fluid needs replacing and is there a service timetable for the steering system. How often should the fluid be changed?

if you have had the car since new.....if you feel a big difference in the smoothness of your steering.....or if when your going slow (like at idle turning in a parking lot) if its smooth then gets jerky like you lost power steering, it needs changed.....also in your owners manual there is a list of when things need to be change.

Trust me, you will learn more from this site than any one person could explain.....did you try using the "search" feature? it usually helps.

thanks turtle, my problem is that that at low speed i get too much steering assist, i usually have to turn the wheel left and right a few times to get it normal again. I was wondering if the fluid needed changing if it wasnt flowing properly
