Default power window problem

hello i have a 1996 honda civic ex coupe. for some reason the power window and the power lock on the driver side dosent work, but the passenger side window and lock works fine, i thought that the switch was gone cause there was no power coming out of the switch so i bought a new switch now i have power at the switch, but not going out to the motor. im going to buy a motor but i dont want to waste my money if maybe something wrong with maybe the wires. because the door lock dosent work on the drivers side

It's common for the wires to break where they flex every time the door is opened. Obviously this happens mostly on the driver's side since that door is opened and closed a lot more often.

If you don't have power reaching the motor, a new motor is not going to help.

Is there power coming out of the switch? Try running a hot wire to the window motor. If the motor goes up and down the switch is ba dor there is a problme between the switch and the window motor.
