also how would i do that continuity test
1) Turn ignition key OFF.
2) Remove fuse 5.
3) Using a continuity tester, touch one probe to the window switch side terminal of the fuse 5 slot and the other probe to the WHT/YEL wire terminal of the window switch connector.
4) The light of the continuity tester should turn ON if the WHT/YEL wire is good.

ok confirmed that 36 fuse is still good and i have no continuity between fuse 5 and white and yellow wire.
would it be bad if i just ran another wire from the battery straight to the whit/yellow wire cause thats the only way it seems to work

Yes, but run the wire from the window switch side of fuse 5 to protect the power window circuit.

when you say from the switch side do mean i can piggy back a wire from the actual connector that connects to the switch and go from there?

No, if you mean using an existing wire that already has another purpose (?).

But you said the WHT/YEL wire is bad. Why would you connect to a bad wire?

hes talking about cuting the wire and splicing it into another power source. which would work BUT hardest part is finding that wire inside the cabin! cause runing new wires thru the door jam loom is hard as hell in just about any vehicle!!!!

I haven't heard that there is any problem with power at fuse 5. Instead, the WHT/YEL wire running from fuse 5 to the power window switch on the driver's door lacks continuity, indicating it is broken/damaged at some unknown location. Therefore, there doesn't seem to be a need to get power directly from the battery, hence my recommendation to use the already protected power source at fuse 5. Also, any attempt to splice a separate power source into the WHT/YEL wire could be futile because the damaged portion of the wire has not yet been located.
