PROBLEM!?
not sure where to post this..but Today this morning my car was fine (7.45 am drove to school), parked it and moved it at around 2pm, still fine (engine sounded OK, drove regularly) then around 2.15 I picked up a couple friends and we all hoped it (my car is maybe 6-8in. off ground) and with the added weight speed bumps are not good. So I pulled out on the main road and the problems started: 1)violents vibrantions when excelarating through center of car 2) its is automatic, but the RPMs seemed to be going normal/high but the speed was not there to go with it 3) it was just ALOT louder than normal when driving inside. I got out and layed on my stomach and seemed like the exaust running under the car was shaking a a bit and making sound even when ideling. I heard could be transmission, or I was wondering if the speedbump could have messed up exaust (or something else) when going over speedbump with the added weight? Thanks! -rob
Well basically it is the sound of the muffler; (you can hear it normally driving), but now it almost seems to be like flying in a small plane you, can hardly hear the person next to you talking. And when accelerating and the RPMs get to about 2.5/3, the vibrations are shaking the whole dash, small compartment in the middle, speakers, almost everything. But when it shifts up the vibrations stop then start again as the RPMs raise.
Well I think I found the problem, started it up today (was a little chilly) got down and looked under car and exaust was comming (pretty heavily) from under the car, as well as the tailpipe. I guess it cracked open or somthing happened on a speedbump
but here is where it is coming from:

I'm not sure what parts those are and would that cause the car to loose power/torque because it felt much different when driving. (It sounds nice though, almost like a WRX

I've had my exhaust break twice and it's exactly like you describe: very loud, lots of vibration, and huge loss of power. good luck getting it repaired
anyway...
loss of power could be that you a a bunch of people in the car, then your exhaust pipebroke. could be coincidental, get the pipe fixed first, then test drive it by yourself. cause i do know that stock honda engines dont like more than 2 passengers. there a little picky bout stuff like that.
good luck
