Exclamation problems with auto seatbelt / door ajar beep...

I recently tore out the carpeting, revealing wiring starting on the door side of each front seat, leading to the bottom of each front seat, with the driver side having an additional wire leading to the emergency break... I cut both, (the driver side wire & passenger side wire ) where it leads off from the floor by the bottom center of each front door. Looking back on things, bad idea, im very good on working on her mechanicly, but electronically, NOT... Now the problems : #1 The auto shoulder belts wont go into driving position when I start the car and close the door (like they normally do, they dont move and are in the down position.) #2 The door ajar beeper beeps when both the doors are closed, or just one is closed. I replaced the floor carpeting with a couple fresh layers of black truck bed liner, wich i'm pretty stoked with by the way, and I would recommend it. I'm looking for a simple solution to both the seat belt, and possibly just disabling the damned beeper maker itself, any input is highly appreciated !!! -1991 civic DX sedan

Did you splice the wires back? That is the simplest solution.

Get a new interior harness or repair the missing wires yourself. I guess it is up to you, but at this rate I do not know if cutting more wires will make things better. -_-

Get a new internal wiring or repair cable loss only. I think it's up to you, but at this rate I do not know if the wire cuts will make things better.
