Default Problems with power window

My fiance has a 2002 Civic LX 4-door. There has been a stupid rattling noise inside the passenger door for a while, but now the power window wont go down. You can put it down with the dirvers side master switch, but not with the passenger side switch. Also, you can put it up with the passenger side switch. Anyone have any ideas whats going on? Also what to I need to do to take apart the passenger side door? Thanks,

Dave

First, take off the door panel and see what is rattling. Since your window can go up and down with the driver's controls, the motor and all the mechancis for the window are fine. However, you cannot move the window down with the passanger's control which leads me to believe that the problem is the passanger's side switch. However, if one or more of the wires on the passanger's side switch is broken then that could also cause your problem. THe first step would be take off the door panel and look at all the wiring and find the rattling sound.

How do I take off her panel without breaking it?
