problems with start up?
i had my civic out of action for a month. i charged the battery up drove for 30 mins to charge.
Than stopped the car for bout 30 mins came out to start up again and wouldnt start.
All the light and instruments work but no turn over to start the engine. there is a weird clicking noise
coming from big relay fuse under the bonnet. i removed the alternator fuse from inside the car and went to turn on
the civic its winds over but to car doesnt start.
Its strange the fuse is fine. CANT EXPLAIN IT BETTER THAN THAT. SORRY. ANY HELP
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IM SO FRUSTRATED

I would check for voltage if you dont have one you can get one at the part store and see what the battery voltage is and at the back of the alternator for the battery problem.
Iits weird though without the alternater fuse its goes to wind over without it does nothing but make a clicking noise in fuse box under bonnet. the voltage was fine on battery. i yellow light comes on in dash than goes away. dont know what that means either. better get it checked out. its a weird electrical thingy
now days they have hand held battery testors to test a battery.
referring to the 200 to 300 dollars ones.
autozone has them.
they will check it for free.
i think your battery is the problem; even though the lights come on.
clean the battery conneections , and then test the battery.

If your engine is cranking over at a normal speed, the battery is fine. If you engine is cranking over very slowly, the alternator might not be charging the battery. If the engine is cranking over at a normal speed, it might be possible that you have another problem that is causing the engine to not start. You might have vapor lock, if you wait an hour or two after you shut off the car does it start?
