So i have my more tore down right now. I have a d16y8. I sucked something trew the intake and it messed my number 1 piston up a bit. The block looks great no marks in it from whatever was in there. I need to buy a new piston and rod. Since i have it apart i plan one putting all new rings in it and bearings and have the head gone over. Has anyone ever bought bearings for a honda? I went to the dealer and they told me i need to find out what color bearing was in there. I have to get numbers off of the motor and the rods and the main caps. Has anyone ever had to do this?

Im guessing no one on here has ever replaced rod bearings?

 

I've read about this color-coding thing before too but I was confused when I searched for info on it.
