Default Question about Short Ram Intake...

I got a 92 Civic LX with 186,000 miles(auto).
I just got a new Short Ram intake but I never really concerned myself with looking to see how they're installed. The Short Ram has 2 hole connections but yet on my stock Air tube I only had 1(leads to the valve cover).

I know one of the holes leads to the valve cover on the Short Ram...but where is the other hole suppose to lead to?
I only got 1 hose included with the SRI...so why 2 hose connectiosn but 1 hose?

I was searching google & keep reading about the MAF needs to be connected to it. I don't understand how the MAF should be connected to the SRI but not the Stock Air Tube.

Or am I just mixing my thoughts up?

Ok after 36 views maybe some people don't know what I'm talking about so here's a couple of pics of the remaining connection hole on the Short Ram tube..LOL.

If nothing belongs to that connection hole & it's left uncovered..will it interfere with the airflow that's already being sucked in by the filter?

Just cap the hole. That is for 96-00 Civics which have the Air Intake temperature sensor in the intake tube rather than in the intake manifold (like the 92-95 Civic have).

You can get a soft plastic cap at your local hardware store. I think it would be called a vacuum cap.

I assume that is an eBay intake system? If so, I can guarantee that is what the hole is for. Also, if it is an eBay system, throw that filter out and buy a better one such as an AEM dryflow filter.
