Default question about Windshield Wiper loose....

well since i bought my 96dx the wipers seem loose and i hear a clinking sound when they are on going back and forth..... the wiper blades are firm enough on the wiper arms so i think the problem is under the cowl. now my question is are the bushings replaceable or do i have to buy all new guts from the motor to the wiper arms?

i see how to remove the linkages thru the book but not sure if i have to buy all new linkage parts or is there some kinda insert/bushings i can just replace?
im geting tired of the clanging with the wipers moving!

At Majestic Honda, it looks like you would need to buy the entire link assembly (go to front windshield wiper in the pull down window):

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/jsp/mws/prddisplay.jsp?inputstate=5&catcgry1=CIVIC&catcgry 2=1996&catcgry3=2DR+EX+ABS&catcgry4=KA4AT&catcgry5 =FRONT+WINDSHIELD+WIPER+(1)

First remove the cowl and inspect the link. You may be lucky and find a fix that does not require replacing anything.
