Default Question on removing fuel pump

I've determined that I need to replace my fuel pump. I decided to do that by going down through the back seat. In the picture I've attached you can see that there were three screws. I took those screws off and tried to pry that cover up, however it won't come up. Does anyone know what is is attached to and how to get it up? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Tank must be dropped, but first you have to take that access cover off in order to undo the connections on the top of the tank. It should pry off once you have the screws out, it likely has sealer underneath. Drain the tank using the drain plug before dropping it.

Before going through all that of course you should be sure the pump really needs replacing.

92-95 has a larger access hole and it's designed to replace the pump from the top.

Thanks for the replies.

I'm sure it is the pump because I took and tested the voltage at the 5p under the back seat. Looks like I've got some work ahead of me.
