Default Quetion about cluster

Hey everyone I have a thread in Introductions with questions but felt it appropriate that I make a new thread so I stop whoring up the new peoples section lol

I have a 1993 Civic 2 door, 5 speed

The gauge cluster in it is only speed mph, gas, and temp so I found another guage cluster that has rpm guage will it work on mine?

http://baltimore.craigslist.org/pts/1559330613.html

my guess is no but figured I could ask

Wow! 250 bucks? If all you want is a tachometer go to a parts store and buy one for 30 bucks.

Yeah that's way too much to pay. But you can use any 92-95 cluster with a tach and put it into your car "plug and play," as the car is already wired for it.

Ok yeah I wasnt really planning on buying that one I was just mainly concerned if I bought one with a rpm tach if it would work so this answer is yes correct?

How hard is it to put one in and anyway I can adjust the mileage? (want to make it what mine is currently) or is that a big no no?

The easiest way to keep the miles the same is to take the speedometer / odometer unit out of your cluster and put it into the new one. They need to be the same color and style for that to look right of course.
