Default Radiator

one of my friends just recently put a radiator from a 88 prelude (stretches over entire front of the engine bay) after removing his airconditioner and condenser. ever since then I've been arguing with him... the question is. Would the larger radiator yeild any performance or would the extra weight from the coolant just hinder you?

It would keep you engine cooler which is always good.

It's not about performance, its about caring for your motor. I plan to do the same thing, only with a teggy rad.

When you run only the half sized radiator, air is likely to take the path of least resistance, and fly right around it. It won't cause HUGE issues, but if your boosted it can have a noticable affect on your coolant temps.

Full sized rads FTW. Or dual core half sized with a sweet custom block off where the other half should be
