Default Random no-start click-> Clutch switch?

EDIT: 1996 Civic DX Sedan 5spd manual

I have an issue I need a little help with. I'm pretty sure I've narrowed my issue down to one of two places but need advice from someone who knows these cars better as I can't find a good picture anywhere.
Here's the problem:
-Randomly won't start.
-When it occurs: Dash lights come on, radio comes on, heat/ac fan kicks on, turn it to start it clicks once and everything goes black. Key off, on, no change, still dead. Give it a few minutes and it will repeat or will start like nothing happened.
-Battery is new, starter is new, had both tested anyway, they passed.
-New battery terminals as they were very loose, still happens.

I started looking around at weird stuff and happened upon the clutch switch. Here is my main question:
Where is the clutch switch supposed to be mounted?
My last manual car ('93 Mazda MX3 GS SE) it was right on the bottom of the bracket/top of the pedal arm so that clutch pedal down=switch in. On this Civic, it's mounted way the hell up almost even with where the MC comes through the firewall and there is an identical bolt/nut where the pedal would come close to the bottom of the bracket. The switch doesn't appear to be hit by the pedal there at all even when all the way down.

Did this make sense? I can post a picture if needed. Anyone know if this is a backyard cobb-job repair that a previous owner did?

Jeeze my bad. Totally forgot that part haha. Used to being on the Stratus Coupe forums, only one option there.

Test the ignition switch in the ON(III) position.

Got it all taken apart, have no idea which connectors the 5P and 7P ones are. I cant figure it out by the wires going in out either. Any more detail as to which plugs im after?

See step 4 in diagram.

Also, 5P and 7P refer to number of pins/slots in connector.

Well I found the 5P connector, redish/brown color coming at the top of the fuse box. I cannot for the life of me figure out where that 7P connector is hiding. I I see 4,6,8 and more but no 7's in that pattern.
Any ideas? Maybe im just looking the the wrong spot? Should be right near that box someplace right?

Ok. Pretty sure I found it. Its tucked away up above the fuse box, behind the metal support that the plastic trim parts attach into.
Also, not 100% confident on how to check the continuity. Put the red prong on the 7P Battery wire and then one by one check the 5P, record #s and report back? Correct?

There are three separate pairwise continuity tests for the ON(III) position:

(3) - 5

(3) - (1)

5 - (1)
