Default Rear Brake Pads

Hi, I am new here, but I have a problem that is driving me nuts!!!! My civic sri 1996 has comsumed two sets of rear brake pads in 3000miles. Calipers are clean and work well, all seems normal but for the wear rate. Anyone have any ideas?

Default RE: Rear Brake Pads

Welcome to HCF man! Hate to hear about your brake troubles. It could be the rear calipers are not releasing all the way or dragging, have them checked out. Another thing could be the front brakes are not grabbing well, thus making the rears do all the work. Check to see if the booster/master cylinder/proportioning valve are working properly and adjusted correctly. Best of luck to you.
