rear defrost

Default rear defrost

on my 91 4door civic lx my rear defrost is only working from the middle up. The lower half is not getting power somehow. I checked all the fuses sofar thats ok. anyone have any ideas

You could try a couple of things here. If you have access to a voltmeter you could check each wire for 6volts. If the voltage is missing then the wire maybe broken. To repair the wire you could use silver conductive paint, available at most parts supply stores. Easiest way is to use a small brush and scotch tape over the damage. Cut a small hole in the tape and let the paint dry for 30 minutes before removing the tape and then retest. Hope this helps

my first car was a 89' grand am and some of it didnt work so i tryed that and it worked great for me but good luck to you.
