Rear turn signal help
So the other day my rear right turn signal quit working. I figured it was just the bulb so I switched the bulbs from the right and left turn signals, and it still wouldn't flash on the right side. So I switched the relay from the right side to the left side and the left turn signal quit working while the right turn signal worked fine. I'm assuming it's the relay.
The problem is that the guy who rebuilt the rear end of my car before I bought it put aftermarket tail lights on it, and I can't find any replacement relays for it. After unplugging it and replugging it in multiple times trying to find a replacement, it seems to be working fine for now. I'm still worried it will quit working again so I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a replacement relay, or maybe if there is anything I can do to my current relay if it goes out again, or maybe I'm just out of luck. I was also wondering if the connector that connects into the relay is the original that was on the car, that way if I wanted to get some SI tail lights whether or not I'd have to worry about the connector working with it. This is on a 98 Civic EX coupe. Here's the rear left turn signal. http://img234.imageshack.us/img234/2...nsignaluh6.jpg Is this connector stock? http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/361/connectorcz8.jpg The relay. http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/6509/relayed9.jpg The relay and bulb connectors. http://img110.imageshack.us/img110/6...nectorsnf8.jpg Thanks for your help. |
RE: Rear turn signal help
Can't you just take the relay to Honda and see if the connectors and amperage matches?
