hey there just take the bolts out that hold down the cover and the bracket for your tranny cable, unhook the little hose that goes to your intake air tube, and the ground wire if theres one on it, then kinda pry up on the cover she'll pop off. has for the head gasket no you dont need to replace that. i would however get a valve cover gasket set, that way its new and fresh.

If you have a DOHC then that would be thevalve covergasket for it. The other rings are for the seals around the spark plug holes and the thicker rings are used as gasket type washers on the head bolts. Good luck with it.

A valve cover gasket set is exactly what I talked about and is exactly what that picture details. It replaces all the gaskets dealing with the valve cover.

No problem,...when installingthevalve covergasketmake sure you get some liquid gasket from the parts store and apply it to all 8 creases in the gasket. These 90 degree bends are the bends that start upward around the cam shaft. It kinda looks like a half moon shape. These creases are prone to oil leaks so the honda manuals tell you to do this to fill in around these points.

you can just go to the honda dealer and pick that kit up, they usually have all of them in stock and ready to purchase.
