Default Removing Rear Seats in a 2002 EX

I have a Honda Civic 2002 EX and I'd like to remove the rear seats entirely so I can get some valuable storage space (I have an expo to go to travel to next weekend). I got the front part of the butt seat up (just some metal snaps) but then the back center part is still hung up on something that I can't seem to locate. Ididn't want to pull to hard and break something.

Does anyone know how these come out? I want to remove the butt and back sections completely.

Thanks so much,
Chris

There's a bolt or two in there near the center, holding the back of the bottom cushion down. Put the seat in normal seating position and open up the gap between the back and bottom cushions (where the seat belts come out) to look for it. You can reach it with a socket wrench.

Normally you'd remove the bolt, pull the back of the bottom cushion up, and then it comes unhooked at the front.

I think the back cushions are removed by folding them down, pulling up the trunk carpet and undoing the hinge, but never tried that.
