Default resistance ignition coil civic

hi friend´s, today I check the resistance of the ignition coil of my 98 civic d16y8. my car only have 71.000 km.

my coil is TEC.

the primary winding resistance in the repair manual say:

0,63 - 0,77 ohm

I check mine and the resistance is 0,12.

can this make my car sometime stalls?

the secondary winding resistance is good.

should I replace the coil?

what brand are good to buy one?

thank`s for help... happy day.

Coils are relatively cheap and easy to replace if need be. Im actually wondering about your numbers you posted, as to where the decimal point is , that would make a big diffrence...

The OEM ignition has very good performance when working properly. The major weakness is the coil is subject to burn out by firing into an open circuit, for example running with a spark plug wire disconnected.
