Default Scratches on glove box

I have some small white scratches on the exterior of the glove box on my 2005 Honda Civic EX (dark grey interior) - what is the best way to have those removed, or at least not so visible?

Please help - thanks!

I take it interior detail sprays (Armor All) don't work?

Are they deep?

How deep are the scratches? I'm trying to figure out why a scratch is showing white on gray plastic. [&:] I remember a thread that seemed to have a good solution for this problem for deep scratches. Using a heat gun to melt the plastic can fill in the scratch, but may leave a slightly noticeable smooth spot on the repaired area. I haven't tried it but it sounds like a good tip, but kinda risky too. Anywho, here is the thread... Scratches on Plastic
