Default senor

hey guys i have an 2005 civic 1.6sport. the central locking was working with the key until recently the key wouldnt turn in the barrel but the fob is working because i got it checked, so is it the sensor that picks up fob that is gone??? but i dont know where it is or wat it looks like! any help???(told it was like a matchbox???)

There should be instructions in the owner's manual about how to (re)synchronize the car to your fob. Try that first. I think the reciever is under the dash but failure of it is rare. Much more likely the fob is putting out some signal but not the correct one.

rite i'll try that but i had it at a honda dealer an they put car on computer an told me it was that sensor,but i'll try your way firist to see an ill let ya know many thanks
