seriously need help fast

so school starts in 2 days and i still dont have my civic fixed and until it is i have to drive my mas old 94 cadillac pos dont ask. so my problem is i have a major idle surge and dont know what the problem is. i checked the tps with my vafc and it is runnig the right volts that it should, does that mean it cant b the problem? And if that isnt what could it b the symptoms are it only surges after warming up and it surges up and down 700 or 800 rpm sometimes more which makes me think it is way to serious to b a vaccum leak any help is appreciated need fixed asap

ps could the wiring on my vafc b causing this it sets a cel when i unplug the vafc at teh connector but it still idle surges so it cant b the actual vafc doin it could it b the wiring to the ecu shortin or somethin

i had that off once already cause it was throwin a iat cel and i didnt know which was which but anyways it did seem kinda dirty i think i might try that or i got an entire spare i could also try thanks for the idea man

Have you bled your radiator? If you get an air bubble then it can cause your idle to go up and down.

have u tryed to adjust ur dizzy to advance or retard ur timing.. it might help level it out

im still thinkin its my tps cause when i disconnected it then the it didnt have an idle surge it just idle really high at like 2k so i think its either the sensor itself or the vafc wiring to the tps messin it up

Ok I don't understand what you just said... you took it off and it was dirty and you didn't clean it?

clean your MAS a firend of mine had the same problem and we cleaned the mas and it went away

i didnt clean it cause i puta different one on but then that one was bad so i went back to original and didnt think to clean it
