Default Shifting into reverse

For some reason I have trouble shifting into reverse sometimes, and it's only reverse that has a problem does anyone have a clue to why this is happening?

What kind of transmission? What do you mean by trouble?

i've had the same problem for awhile now.
is it the synchros in the transmission?

mine will go into reverse if i shift into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, then reverse.
itll also go in if i lightly push into reverse, then ease off the clutch a bit, and itll slide right in.

its a bit annoying, actually....anyone know how to fix it?

Ya thats pretty much what mine does i usually have to shift into another gear to finally get it to go into reverse, it just gets really annoying after a while.

actually i've had some stupid problem with mine as well. i have had two autos before finally getting a manual, but i did learn to drive stick on a couple other cars well before getting mine. i'll throw my civic into reverse...hit the gas a bit, then put it in neutral...a few times i didn't give it enough gas so i go to put it back in reverse with the clutch pedal to the floor. the couple times i've done this (i don't even **** with it now) there was a grinding sound. it confuses the hell out of me since i have the clutch disengaged.

I would think if the clutch needed to be replaced that i would be having trouble getting it into other gears but I don't know to much when it comes to the transmission

Iusually shift to first or if I am on slight incline I would let the car roll a bit.
