I have heard that a short throw shifter will cause sycros to go bad i wanted to know before i spent the money to get one

you cause synchros to go bad, if you drive around beating the crap out of your tranny, a short shifter won't matter the synchros will break.

if you get a short shifter and drive like a normal person, you would have no problems, except that it might not be as smooth as a stock shifter.

Exactly. I have a friend who claims a short shifter destroyed his tranny. I keep telling him, "no, slamming gears at 8500rpms 24/7 is what killed your tranny.."

anyone whos tranny blew because f the short shifter....sorry, but they need to learn how to drive stick period.
