ive got a 1999 Civic Si with 92K miles on it.. its got an AEM Fuel rail and cold air intake.. aftermarket stage 2 clutch, and a upgraded fuel pump. my problem is that it seems slugish around the midrange of the power band between 3000-5000 rpm, ive done where you take the negitive battery terminal off and let it sit and then reconnect it and restart the motor for 5 min, it ran strong for a while after that, then it seemed to be back how it was, is there anything that i could do such as a fuel computer or would i need to go and look into an ecu swap such as from hondata or AEM engine management, any ideas would be a great idea.

I'd like to get someone else to jump in here too, but it sounds like your fuel mapping is screwy... maybe as a result of the high-flow FP. It could be running rich... but that's a pretty sketchy guess.

sounds like you need a S-AFC to control your fuel mapping, I would get a S-AFC and get a dyno run so they can tune it properly it'll make huge difference for ya
