Default spark plug wires

I'm looking to upgrade my spark plug wires for a d16z6. Anyone have any thoughts on NGK vs. MSD vs. Magnecor? I just don't know enough about them to make an informed decision. Thanks for the help in advance.[/align]

Are you running boost or anything? I've been debating doing this mod to my civi and wasn't sure if it'd worth the time and money...

I've had aftermarket units on my car and Bosch units, it didn't seem like I lost much since the bosch are smaller but it's hard to tell for sure.... I'm personally going to swap out for a set of NGK plugs and matching wire set.

So NGK huh? Anyone else have any input before I order a set of NGK's? Also, I saw that they make a set of special iridium NGK wires. True or false and would they go well with the Denso Iridium plugs I bought?

I know there are two versions of NGK wires, OE style and their "High performance" units, the guy selling the wire sets said to me the "High performance" units weren't really worth the money. I was looking HERE (this should pull up NGK wire sets for civic's..... if not just go thru the menus to geto wire sets, you can also get plugs from this site as well).

why does everyone think they are going to see "gains" lol. Unless one of your wires are damaged now and you're running on 3 cylinders, then you're not going to see a gain just by simply buying "RACING wires". Hondas come equipped with an excellent ignition system, thus allowing the high revs, as well as hondas excellent head designs. If it's your dd, then just get oem replacements, if it's a full out track *****, then get a set of "racing wires". it's as simple as that.

I'm surprised no one said anything about the iridium plugs and wires.....There no better than regular NGK spark plugs, unless you got turbo and need the colder metal plugs.
