Default speed sensor wiring

took out trans to rep[lace clutch...inadvertently ripped out wiring from speed sensor....has three colored wires...can easily jury rig back into sensor, but dont know what wire goes where....idle now is affected....runs smooth at about 700 then drops down to 400 for 2 seconds, goes back up.....cycle repeats....

Speed sensor has no effect unless the car is moving... After disconnection of battery, OBDII models will idle unsteady until ECU recalibrates itself. Wires ripped out = plug is ruined. Cut the sensor plug out of a parts car and splice the wires to your harness. Or swap the whole harness.
