Hi.. I'm new to the forum.. and I'm having a problem with my 98 civic LX... I hear a squeaking sound in the right side of the back seat... anyone have any idea of what that might be?? i took it to the shop and the guy said the shocks need to be changed, but I heard that shocks aren't suppose to make that sound... so yeah.. anyone that can give me some feedback would be great ^__^

 

check your shock bushings, strut springs etc. use a peice of hose like a stethoscope, have somebody bounce the car and narrow down your search, process of elimination after that. and shocks can squeek if the oil is depleted, or the shaft marred, several reasons...
