Default squeaky back end

hi,

im having this problem with the back end of the car ('99 dx). When i go over a bump or steep dip the back squeaks. its not very bad, but if someone is sitting in the back, its very squeaky like a door opening in a horror movie. i crawled under the car and noticed it was coming from in front of the tire. Im not sure exactly what area, and i dont know the name of the part, but its a kind of an arm, specifically a kind of circular disc looking thing thats attached to that arm. Probably about 12 inches in front of the back tires. Does anyone know what this could be?

thanks for your help!

Default RE: squeaky back end

its your bushing in the rear. its not a big deal if its not damaged, but if it bothers you a lot, get a polyurethane bushing set from energy suspension. it will tighten up your suspension a lot.
