Default Squeaky Belt

I think one of my belts is squeaking. After I cold-start the car it starts squeaking but once I get it warmed up and drive it a bit I no longer hear it. Its not that shrill "loose belt" sound...its just a consistent squeaky type of sound that's not even that loud unless you roll down the window. Is this a belt problem or something?????

Check your belts' tension.

If it's not that, check for a bad idler pulley bearing.

If its a bearing would it make the sound all the time, or possibly just when the engine is cold?

It depends, it could be a bad bearing. If you can't localize the noise, take all the belts off and spin the pulleys by hand. You can also try starting the engine with the belts off. If you still hear noise then it is from something related to the timing belt -- the water pump or the tension roller.
