Squeaky/Clicking AC Compressor
Sup guyz, I just recently changed my whole ac compressor unit on my 2001 Honda Civic LX since it was going bad anyways I just noticed a clicking noise everytime I press the AC button on the dash board and I heard it was most likely the ac compressor kicking in and I just want to make sure if this is normal or not. Another thing is that every time I start my car I hear like a little whining/squeaky noise coming from around the ac compressor/belts as if it needs to be lubed or replaced cause it's quite annoying but after I leave the car idled for a good minute to warm up the noise reduces alot any opinions?
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks,
Chris
Another thing I would like to add is that I just got a 2.25 custom exhaust and the next day my maintenance light came on and my car does a weird idle when i start it but then goes away immediately any suggestions on what this might be? thanks guys really appreciate this
I think I have a similar problem. Mine doesn't make any noise when I press the A/C button but it makes the
noise at regular intervals while it is on. It sounds like a a combination of a 'click' and a pressure release valve.
hard to explain.
Is this a normal sound?
