Default Squeeling wheels

On my 2000 Civic Ex the wheels squeel/schreech when driving. It is very annoying and makes my car sound like crap. Anyone have any ideas why it is doing this or how to fix the problem. I am almost tempted to spay a whole bunch of WD40 down there haha. I know it is not the brakes because I had brand new ones put on about 10-15,000 miles ago and I do not use my brakes much.

I also have the same problem with my Jeep Grand Cherokee with the squeeling wheels.

And for the hell of it does anyone know why my amp/subs turn off and on while I drive? Could it be the amp is getting too hot?

It is constant. When I hit the brakes it seems to muffle it a little.

I had my car re aligned a few months ago. The squeeling sound I get it like someone who can't whistle trying to whistle if that makes any sense.

Does it squeal around corners, in a straight line, regardless?

What kind of pads are you using? Semi metalic ones from local parts stores will make noise and create more brake dust.

I think it might stop squeeling a little when I corner hard.

Ahh gwl good point. I did get my brakes from a local garage. Should I just try and clean the rotors?

Sounds like it might be wheel bearings
