Squeeling wheels
You shouldn't get too much brake dust if you used OEM pads. I would check with the local garage and see what kind they used when they replaced your pads. Disc brake pads are really simple to replace if you need to change them.
With wheel bearings, I usually get a roaring sound when they go bad.

it might be something stuck behind the dust shield. iv had rocks and a peice of metal stick behind the dust shield before. once i even had to remove the wheel to get it out. it makes a squealing noise and gets louder when you turn one way more then the other.
