Default SRS and seatbelts???? 02 Civic EX

So my car was a salvage title and the SRS light has always been on and I've never had any problems with it but then again I've never crashed in to anything. Recently my pass side seatbelt is locked and won't come out. It did this last year for a little bit but then started working again. So I took off the plastic to see if I coul fix it and there is no F-ing way im gonna mess with the computer hooked to the SRS and it's heavily bolted in there with metal caseing all around it. I looked it up in my owners manual and it says it has a lifetime warrenty on the seatbelts but is that only if you have a warrenty or is that covered under Honda completely by itself. Or has anyone else had this problem and fixed it ?

A lifetime warranty is a lifetime warranty, but the fact that it does have a salvage title might void the warranty. I dont know exactly, but it seems the best thing to do would be go to the dealer and find out. I hear anything involvingseatbelts is expensive... even to reset the SRSlight. But, since the seatbelt is locked there is definitely a problem.

Go under the seats and unplug it, the SRS light will be on but the beeping will go away.
