I got a 98 civic lx when I go to start my car it will bog a little then idle fine. It happens only when Its first started. Any ideas what fouls be going on I was thinking fuel filter or a sensor. I also get a erotic idle sometimes then it goes away. Any help wilk be appreciated thanks

 

the problem is still occuring only at first start tho. Im gunna clean the iacv today and see if it helps. also when i was driving last night the seemed like it stalled out but didnt shut off the gas quit and wasnt idling. i turn the car off and started it again it seem to do the same thing then shut off and started again and it worked fine. Looking for some advice. im thinking iacv, fuel filter, distrubuter, o2 sensor, plug wires.

 

Clean the IACV for sure, especially if you're saying that it drives OK, just won't idle.
