stand alone units vs. piggy back

Default stand alone units vs. piggy back

i got my ecu or ecm stolen. i am not sure which one it is. could any one tell me if it is the same as a fuel management system?
and if i can ues a piggy back with out having the origional (computer box) that was stolen.

you cant use the piggyback without he stock ECU, its called piggy back becasue its wired into the stock ECU. The standalone system replaces the whole ECU entirely and generally givesmoretuning options than a piggyback.

You need to find a new ECU for your car. What year/model/trim/trans is it?
