Default Starting issue

Sometimes, when I try to start my car (96 Civic ex), it feels like the engine doesnt sense that the clutch is down and doesnt start. Usually I just try it again and it starts up. Could there a a reason for this? Thanx.

You can try adjusting the switch that controls that.

I know this is an old post. But, is there a way to bypass the clutch safety switch to prevent this? I have adjusted the switch and it still acts up? I would like to get rid of the switch if I can. Thanks
