starting problems
 

So yesterday morning I went out to start my car, I go to turn the key and nothing happened all of the lights were lit up but it didn’t start. So I turn the key three more times and it started. And it did it all day today when I tried to start it. So tonight I pulled my car into my garage to take a look at it. I cleaned my battery terminals, checked the ground wires, and the connections to the starter and it all look good. So what do you guys think it might be? o ya i drive a 94 civic ex with the d16z6 5-speed

could be a coroded terminal on the starer or the wire corroded... most likely the small starter activation wire.... pull the wire and put a test light on it and make sure its actualy geting power everytime ya hit the key..... you could also hardwire that starter wire... run a wire into the car thru the firewall and simply wire a momentary switch to it and wire it to a power source in the fuse box.....
cause it might also be the ignition contacts..... several things it could be...... preaty easy to bypass it also.... ;)

don't hardwire anything..
mickey mouse way of doing things

pull the black/white wire off at starter solenoid , use a test lite , have someone try to start the car ( it won't start with the wire unplugged) ,, if you get power at the black/white wire ,,most likely you got a bad starter

if no power could be a bad starter realy or a bad clutch switch
