Default steering wheel,installation question. read.

I installed my aftermarket steering wheel. It wasint fun.. I got the nut off that holds the steering wheel in,it wasint that hard to get it off, by hand. That white coil cable came out, so i put it back it.

quastion: I put the steering wheel bolt back on, but can still tighten it more with more force but i dont want to over tighten it. Also i think the wheels would start to turn if i tightien it more. Is it going to be fine?

quastion: Its hard to turn the wheel, i think its becuase the cover for the hub is touching the base of the steering column. And i think that it also prevents it from spining back from making a turn. The hub realy doent work good with the white coil thing so it could be that.idk

Am i supposed to use that white coil with an aftermarket streeing wheel?

hrmm... I really don't know man. Best bet is to ask the people you bought it from, although I highly doubt they have any idea either.

Its not the best idea to run something like this in your DD either. Sacrificing your airbag and reliable steering is kinda dangerous. I'm sure you know that, so I'll stopbeing a DAD

Sounds like your wheel does not fit. The splines in the wheel hub must match the splines on the shaft, so you can move the wheels of the car even without the nut on. Otherwise it will be very dangerous.

After driving around, its not so bad that its a little stiff to turn im geting use to it, i feel like i have more control. My only concern is how tight the steering wheel bolt is supposed to be on. It all work fine today so it should be fine.
