Default Suspension Question

I am working on my girlfriends 01 Civic Ex, The problem is when she turns and the suspension is compressed (sometimes it will do it when at ride height)there is a poping noise. I am thinking that it is probably a control arm bushing going bad, has anybody else had the popping noise and what was it if not the Control arm bushing.

Thanks

Adam

Sounds like a possible CV axle problem. Are the inboard or outboard axle boots torn and leaking grease?

Not that I could see. I can check again tonight and see what I find. I'll update after I look.

Default RE: Suspension Question

my car has been doing that over the winter periodically. I brought it to my mechanic thinking it was the tierods, but it wouldn't make the noise and they checked over everything and said everything looks fine. He said it might be the sway link but then came to the conclusion that it wasn't. So I dunno... can't be too major. And I know my mechanic well, he knows his stuff.
