Default swap err nah??

Hey guys!
Im new here and just wanted to bop heads with other civic owners (usually hang out with mustang heads)
well, anyway i recently bought a 98 honda civic ex automatic(eek). And i was thinking of doing a 5 speed conversion and drop a
b16 in there for 4,500. but then i got to thinking thats alot of money and i really dont want a race car just a nice car that can hold its own if i want to.

now you think with a d16y8 built up engine i could hold my own. and do you think its worth doing the a 5 speed conversion or should i just keep it automatic?? Would it really make a difference? i mean i can kinda down shift with a automatic anyway.

should i just keep it as is and built th engine?? and make it look good?

i wanna hear some input thanks alot guys!!!

auto tranny's aren't very strong when the hp gets up there. THe piece you need would come with a clutch pedal and a brake pedal. B16 for 4500 are you putting it in yourself or is someone doing it?

if that incl. everything i would go with it then later on build the b16
or just build d16 and swap tranny and put motor on some boost.
