I'm driving a 95 DX Coupe automatic w/JDM D15B,35 mpg daily driver. I know someone who has a 2003 accord EX w/K24A4. They are wanting to put in a V-6 w/turbo and go crazy. I know this motor has been taken great care of, and the price is right. Is it technically possible to put the K24A4 in the 95 Civic?

 

yes. but it will take some work. maybe even custom motor mount brackets.

i've seen k24s in civic EG hatches and they're damm fast.

but you'll need the motor tranny, maybe custom axles, ecu, wiring harness, etc.

if you're willing to put the work (and the money) into it, you can pull it off.

 

Thanks for the reply. I was really curious about the tranny. I guess I would have to get the engine and a transmission both to even begin to think about making it work. I've also read a few things about oil pans hanging too low, hoods not closing, just all kind of oddball stories when you get a little too much of a swap going. The EG Hatch you saw that had a k24 in it, could it have passed for stock as far as the outside appearance??

 

yes. the guy had a wire tuck done to his engine bay, but it's not like the hood wouldn't close or anything.

all you saw was that DOHC VTEC valve cover blinging from the engine bay.
