Default Tach Signal in a DX cluster?

I've got a 99 DX, so the stock cluster doesnt have a tach in it. I've been having trouble with my shift light that is wired into my spare tach signal (in my engine bay), so i was thinking about another way to wire the shift light. An EX or SI cluster is a direct plug n play replacement for my cluster, and since the EX and the SI both have tachometers, that must mean that one of the harnesses behind my cluster on my DX has a tach signal right? Anyone know which wire it is? I imagine a Haynes or Helms manual has a diagram for this, but i dont have either of them thanks all

On the plug that plugs in above the temp gauge the blue wire in that harness is the tach signal wire.

Heh I wish the "Tech" guy's that installed the tach my dx had when I got it knew about that instead of running a signal line all the way out to the dizzy..... stupid part was they had the tach getting it's power off the back of the oe cluster.....
