My ac on my 2001 ex is dead , finally. Needs new compressor, condenser, TXV, drier. I have done a few ac systems before, including yanking dashboards, but men, this engine bay leaves no room for even a small hand to squeeze in there. I searched the forum for a stepwise method for doing your own ac, no luck.

Anyone ever do this chore?

I've never done it but I can't imagine it'd be that bad. You can get at the A/C compressor very easily if you remove the LF tire. There's a plastic guard covering the crank pulley/compressor, just remove the 2 pins and move the plastic out of the way.

I don't think the condenser would be much of an issue but not sure about the rest of it.
