Default Tail Light Conversion

I am trying to change out my stock tail lights with some new tail lights that I got. I can't get the stock lights out. I have taken out the three screws and I still can't get it out. I have a 2003 honda civic sedan. If anyone who give me some instruction on how to take it off, I would appreciate it.

I cant recall on the 03s but are you sure you got all of the screws out? Once you are 100% sure you can use a small peice of rope and slip it down between the light and the car to help you pull it out.

Yeah, I only saw three screws and took them all out. But the light wouldn't come out. I will try to rope in between the light and car. I just don't understand why it would still be stuck like that??

A lot of times the foam sealer that is put between the body and tail light has some sticky adesive on it that makes the tail stick to the body, when removing the tail light for the very first time a lot of time you have to give it a real good tug (or the rope trick LEVII told ya to try) to get the tail light seperated from the body.

Well, I spend about 15 minutes looking for more screws, but I couldn't find any. I only saw three in a diamond pattern. Well, I am going to do the rope trick this weekend. Hope I can get those damn lights out, lol.

I am thinking about getting other tail lights because the one's that I bought are not a carbon fiber tail light, they are just plastic . Does anyone know where I could get relatively inexpensive tail lights. What do you all think about buying lights on ebay??

easy way to tell if you have found all the screws is to look on the back of the new tail lights and see how many are on them....
