Takes 2-3 Cranks to start every time
The original symptom was always that it takes 2-3 cranks to start the engine. Recently bought a new battery after thinking the one from '08 was the cause. We've had to jump it a few times in the past to get it started. Shortly after installing the battery and pulling away, the car stalled at a light. Do you think this is ignition system related or fuel related? Once the car is running, it normally runs fine without stalling but this stalling was a first for me. Could the new battery be a dud? (advanceautoparts autocraft gold).
What should I start checking first, distributor, coil, caps, timing belts, plugs, wires etc? Or fuel?
